I bring strategy, method and people together
Most consultants pick one. I refuse — because the projects that actually work need all three. Strategy without method becomes a wishlist. Method without people becomes bureaucracy. People without strategy becomes a nice team going nowhere.
Background
I'm Adán. I've spent 10+ years as a senior project manager across industries that don't usually share a meeting room: banking (ING), pharma (Boehringer Ingelheim), tech (HP), fintech and blockchain (Block, founded by Jack Dorsey), retail energy (Holaluz), and consulting (Amaris). Each one taught me something different — banks taught risk, pharma taught precision, fintech taught speed, energy taught consumer empathy.
In parallel, I trained as a Gestalt and EMDR therapist. Not as a hobby — because I noticed that 80% of "process" problems in companies are actually people problems wearing a process disguise. The therapy training rewires how I run projects, run conversations and run mentoring.
For the last two years I've been deep in AI: building agents, training teams, designing roadmaps, shipping production apps. Not because it's trendy — because it's the biggest leverage point I've seen in my career.
Approach
Two non-negotiables.
PM rigor. Clear scope, real dates, named owners, honest status. Risks logged in writing, decisions tracked, dependencies surfaced. The boring craft of getting things done.
Gestalt depth. What's actually happening in the room? Where's the avoidance? Whose anxiety is driving the dashboard? In leadership and mentoring, this is half the work. In delivery, it's how you spot the risk before it's red.
The combination is rare. It's also the reason I don't fit cleanly into a category — and it's the reason my clients hire me.

How I work
- Direct. If something is broken, I'll say so in week one. Politely, but clearly.
- Applied judgment, not frameworks. I've read the books. I won't make you read them.
- Honest dates. If a project will slip, I tell you before the steering committee does.
- No vendor lock-in. I have no reseller deals. Recommendations are based on fit, not commission.
- Confidential. What's said in mentoring stays there. Always.
Outside work
Based in Barcelona. Trilingual (English, Spanish, Catalan). Reader, walker, occasional runner. Two newsletters in flight, an AI dating product in build, and a coaching practice that keeps me honest about the human side of all this.
